the hotel was clean with friendly efficient and extremely helpful staff with good customer service. the restaurant was very nice at ground floor here, i had delicious dishes. included a small refrigerator, coffee, and a safe, and the bed was extra large. the location was perfect and comfortable, not too far away from a huge mall. there was a wide array of restaurants and bars.

Location
The staff was extremely rude. Housekeeping asking for a tip as a precondition to clean the room. Also the non smoking room had cigarette smoke smell

Great hotel, stayed here last time in 2007. Renovated a lot since then. Good price, great location, a true 4 star. The best thing about Ambassador is its breakfast. Its simply awesome. Don't miss it for the world.

Good location. Close to high way metro station and center of the town.
Hotel looks very old. Very poor equipment and facilities. Dirty and has unpleasant smell in the rooms. Hotel rooms and hotel in general require repair and refurnishing. Furniture has oil spots and towels also has dirty spots. Even chain on the room entry door are dirty and corroded. Free internet are not available even in lobby. Ceilings are very low located. In reality it is 2 star hotel and not 4. Strongly do not recommend to stay at this hotel.

We selected this hotel because of the reputation. Some of my friends from cic ltd Sri Lanka have stayed in this hotel. We ten from the Department of Agriculture visited and some of them have never visited any country before. The hotel facility is excellent. The brekfast is really good with wide spread. The location is comfertabl for shopping, cite seen and even travelling aware from city. Rooms were cleaning every day and the entire staff is friendly. Only problem which I found was the fitness centre was not open till 9.00 am. Your business centre was also good for travel packages Dr. Rohan Wijekoon

Very conveniently located near nana Skytrain Metro Station, making travel around the city easy. Supermarket a few steps away from Hotel. Plenty of restaurants to suit all budgets straight outside the hotel. Hotel breakfast was excellent, catering to most tastes (Western, Muslim, Asian, Indian) and plenty of variety. Friendly wait staff.
Hotel is too far away from the main tourist attractions like the many temples and Palace and river if you are only staying a few days to see just these things. Traffic congestion is chronic, the tuk tuk drivers all quote very cheap fares but there is a twist...they all take you to their shops to "just look".. A lot faster using metro system rather than taxis or tuk tuks (these are good for short distances only).

Great place with excellent wi-fi, a clean outdoor swimming pool, and 24-hour reception. The staff even helped me with taxi tips during my first visit. Don't miss the great breakfast! I'll come back for my business trip.
